The dry and chilly winter wind is here to play havoc on your skin. With cracked lips, dull complexion and flaky skin; maintaining the natural glow all winter long may seem a dream and the winters a nightmare. Well, without losing point, here are the ten winter wonder foods for a radiant, glowing and healthy skin.

Amla – Popularly known as the Indian gooseberry, amla is a great food for skin, hair, eyes, nails and almost every body part. But most importantly, amla increases the collagen production which helps the skin remain taut and naturally glowing. Amla reduces pigmentation, helps fight acne, exfoliates, cleanses, repairs damaged tissues and delays premature ageing; would you still need reasons?

Beetroot – A rich source of powerful antioxidants preventing appearance of wrinkles, beetroot is the best ingredient for pink and glowing skin. If eating raw beetroot is a task for you, then add a dash of lemon juice for the right tangy flavour.

Carrot – The must eat vegetable of a regular winter diet, carrot is a rich source of vitamin A which keeps your skin healthy, glowing and wrinkle free. And the best part is that you can eat them in any form; salad, juice, boiled or cooked as delicious gajar ka halwa. Sounds yummy!
